Delicious wildest, high price category. The service could partly speak and understand German better. Corona sheet first when asked, then a cute answer, but brought. Hence a clear point deduction!

Family-run hotel that is a guarantee for a relaxing holiday. The kitchen offers a wide range of game and fish dishes, which are a must for every island vacationer. The hotel is modern and cozy, as are the rooms. The staff is very nice and courteous, with advice and service. It's worth a visit.

Great hotel, Great service and one Excellent kitchen We recommend

We were only two nights in the Hotel Strandburg, but we were (almost) completely satisfied ... The room was not that clean and not well ventilated and the minibar is explicitly mentioned in the room description, but it didn't even come with a bottle of water equipped. With the prices you would have expected a little more ... AAABER !!! The staff was super nice and very accommodating, the breakfast was bomb and the food in the restaurant was absolutely amazing! We have never eaten game dishes that are so creatively prepared and extremely tasty !! A compliment to the chef!

Nice little hotel + 2 apartments. Anne and Jan plus team take great care of your guests. Sauna in the house, but also this September surprises us again with sunshine and invites us to swim. Everything is just perfect.

Super nice and courteous staff. The portions were decent for those who were hungry. Outstanding taste.

We were 10 days on Baltrum and were guests in the Strandburg for the second time. Once again we felt VERY comfortable. Not only the owners, but also all the other employees were very friendly and helpful - from reception and housekeeping to service at breakfast and dinner. All of them create a pleasant atmosphere in which you can relax wonderfully. At breakfast there are hardly any wishes left unfulfilled (various rolls and types of bread, a good selection of cheese and sausage, but also fruit salad, muesli, scrambled eggs and, on request, fresh fried eggs - and much more). The necessary Corona requirements (which certainly entail a lot of additional work) were implemented without unnecessarily "pushing themselves into the foreground" ... that is, professionally, but without undoing the relaxation factor of the vacation. A big THANK YOU to the whole team :-)! PS: The (evening) meal in the restaurant also deserves five stars! They specialize in game, but the menu has a lot to offer for both fish and seafood lovers and vegetarians.

Very tasty food! We had plaice, wild boar beef, and pancakes. The food as well as the drinks were perfect and, above all, very tasty. The service was also very attentive and friendly. Thank you - we'd love to come back

We were just eating (deliberately because of the game dishes) in the Strandburg and we were absolutely happy and full of loads! Perfect starter and main course, professional service and our dog was happy under the table. If our vacation wasn't nearly over, we would definitely come back in a heartbeat. The prices were really reasonable to partly cheap. But the main thing for us: top quality! Strandburg: gladly again!

We only rate the restaurant! We were not a guest in the hotel! We visited some restaurants on Baltrum, this was in our top 3 !! The menu is very different from most restaurants on the island. It is shaped and determined by game dishes. The interior of the restaurant is kept simple, typical of the island. The service was lively and innovative on both visits (thanks to the daughter of the owner ?) The food was really excellent and to the point. Tasty, tasty and enough! The wine list is manageable but good. We thank you with this review for the two nice evenings. Really highly recommended!

If we had known how bombastic the food is, we would have come EVERY evening and would have stayed here too. Absolutely delicious food and at surprisingly affordable prices for the island.
